We’re Carla and Bill, lifelong animal lovers whose lives have always been deeply connected to animals.
Bill grew up caring for animals of every kind — dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and more — developing a lifelong respect for the unique bond between people and their pets.
Carla’s path led her even deeper into the animal world. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, interned at a wolf sanctuary, and spent years studying and working closely with animals as a certified animal practitioner and animal communicator.
Together, we created FurBound to bring that passion to life.

To our beloved Wexler
Wexler spent his final years battling kidney disease, and anyone who's been there knows the routine, the pill pockets that didn't fool him, the droppers he refused, the stress of wondering if he was actually getting what he needed.
He was stubborn, beloved, and the most honest product tester we never planned on having.
When he passed, we carried two things forward: the grief of losing a family member, and the determination to make a kidney supplement cats would actually take and that would actually work.
Every formula in our cat collection was born from that experience: the late nights, the worry, the love, and the desire to make caring for our pets feel a little less difficult.
Our Kidney Support Purée is dedicated to Wexler’s memory and to every pet parent doing everything they can for the animals they love.
